dream company 2019/2020

We can now proudly call ourselves a dream company, because on July 24, 2019 we were awarded the “Dream Company” award. This award is not given by external bodies or customers, but is only obtained through an internal survey and evaluation by employees.

An anonymous survey conducted by an independent body (Georg Paulus) determines employee satisfaction. Criteria such as job satisfaction, stress factors or income level are queried. If you achieve a result of at least 70% you will receive the award. Our company’s result was close to 80%. We will work on the points that are still missing in order to improve the result when defending the award in two years. The result is a good benchmark and shows us, on the one hand, that our way of dealing with employees and customers based on values is the right approach and that we should continue to pursue this consistently, and, on the other hand, that we can still develop further in a few aspects.

We are now one of only 34 companies in Germany whose award confirms that they live an appreciative corporate culture. Incidentally, we are the first company in the new federal states to receive this award.

Excellence in Production

“Excellence in Production” is a competition organized annually by the Laboratory for Machine Tools and Production Engineering (WZL) of RWTH Aachen University and the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology (IPT) to determine the best toolmaking in German-speaking countries. In 2008, µ-Tec GmbH took 6th place in the category “Internal toolmaking with fewer than 100 employees”. A total of 327 companies took part in this competition.
